Downstairs
Once inside the front door you immediately enter the kitchen diner. This leads past the stairs to a hallway with useful boot storage / coat rack with doors to the lounge and back garden / patio.
Kitchen / Diner
Immediately you enter Meghan Cottage there is a useful settle to rest your legs and remove muddy boots.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, fridge, microwave, washer dryer as well as a few other essentials such as a cafetiere, sandwich/panini toaster, electric carving knife and slow cooker. There is plenty of cutlery / crockery / glassware for four.
The kitchen diner has a table/chairs for four and two additional comfortable chairs to relax in. A highchair is available on request.
Perhaps you may wish to warm up in front of the smokeless fuel fire and enjoy the DAB radio / wireless speaker to listen to your own selection.
WIFI is provided.
Lounge
The lounge has been recently modernised and is a comfortable room with stunning views over the back garden towards St Johns in the Vale.
There is an open fire to keep you cosy on winter nights
There is a Freeview TV with DVD player and a CD / radio stereo system with a selection of music to get you started.
A selection of books and DVDs are also available for your use.
Outside
The hallway leads to the back garden and patio. There is garden furniture for four, a comfortable seat to relax on and a sun parasol.
It is a stunning setting to enjoy your meals or just relax with a drink after a hard days holidaying.
If you are lucky you may see the mountain opposite appear 'on fire' as the setting sun shines upon it
There is space to park a car immediately outside the front of the cottage, or preferably in the parking bay either 25m up the road or 100m prior to the cottage.
